Tan Books is offering any of their new Reader’s Edition Douay-Rheims Bibles at 70% off this November. So for example, the deluxe edition which is listed at $69 dollars is now $21. While this is obviously a fantastic deal, I will say as one who pre-ordered it in September (and has yet to receive it) that offering such a massive discount at this point is rather annoying. I am not sure how this benefits anyone who was willing to help support and promote this bible in its pre-publication stage. And I will certainly reconsider pre-ordering any product from Tan Books in the future.
