Oh wow. Is that their New Catholic Bible (NCB)?
I could be wrong, but comparing John 2 it looks like its from the NABRE.
That font and layout combined with the gold scroll on the cover is 100% NCB. Pretty cool
I don’t think so, necessarily. It looks identical to the St. Joseph NABRE that CBPC makes (used to make?). I have the same edition; it has the gold scroll and that exact font and layout.
It’s the NABRE. I have the exact edition he has, and I paused and compared the specific page he was looking at and everything was identical to my NABRE. CBPC St Joseph Medium NABRE flex-lite cover (or whatever they call it).

Upon reflection that makes more sense than the Pope using the NCB
Definitely the NABRE from CBPC. St Joseph medium. I have the very bible. Honestly it’s my favorite reading bible. Great font and layout imo. Came here when I saw the video.
If you pause the video and compare the translation with both the NCB and NAB, you see that he is using the NAB. Catholic Bible Press often uses the same covers, font, paper, and format for both the NAB and NCB, so it’s easy to confuse the two until you compare the precise wording.
